Journal entry; April 29, 2006. A little disturbance in the water as we make our way down the Willamette.
Byron floats past.
Kayakers to the right of me.
Canoes to the left.
An expedition folding canoe is in our party.
And a couple of hours later here's the Encounter on the shore with my tent in the background.
And here we are after setting up camp. Travis is on the right tending the Dutch ovens.
