Journal entry Saturday November 25th, 2006. I turn back again and take a picture of the Burnside Bridge. No series of pictures of Portland's bridges is complete without a picture of the Burnside.

Here's Portland's Northwest waterfront. Here you see new condos rising next to century old industrial factories.


A riverside office park on the Northeast Side.
The river grows more industrial.

A beautiful ship, The Polar Adventure, unloads along the shoreline. Alaska's Maritime Exchange bills her as a "Modern, state of the art tank ship built for carrying crude oil from Valdez Alaska, to the lower forty-eight."
