Northwest Discoveries

2004

I work as a guide for Northwest Discoveries on and off through the year  Guide work is one of the best jobs on the planet.  It's not my day job but it is fun work and often is not really work at all.  I took a few photos from a couple of trips with En Doubleyew Dee this year (2004) and  I want to share these events as they were kind of rare.

The first set of photos is from my last trip up Mt. Saint Helens in July.  Later this year the mountain started to vent and build it's dome more, so this might be the last time up for me in awhile.  Along for the trip were some really fun people from a singles group called Events and Adventures.  They were lots of fun and I look forward to working with these folks again.  Here's the Northwest Discoveries link, and the "E & A" link.

This was a sea kayak trip in October on the Willamette River.  October is a tenuous time to take any kind of trip in the Northwest but this turned out to be a rather nice day.  It was an excellent trip, lots of fall colors, and with a little extra water in the river, lots of side channels to explore.
