Flathead

Lake

Journal entry July 20 2005,  Flathead Lake Montana.  Below a second shot of the former lunch stop.  We asked one of the locals, working on his sailboat, who owned this island.  He said he did and gave us permission to stop.  So be warned, there is very little public land here and you need permission to use peoples shore access!

Our day of paddling over, Travis reclines by his tent on shore.  As water trail campers we had an excellent campground, far better than the motor home campers all jammed together in the park.

Travis at sunset.  He's making a few adjustments to his camera before capturing the event on film.

One last shot of yours truly before the mosquitoes descend.
